Refund Policy
Right to Cancel
The statutory right to cancel is 14 days. We extend this period for our customers to a total of 30 days. Consumers therefore have the right to cancel the contract within 30 days without giving a reason. The cancellation period begins on the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier), takes possession of the goods. To exercise the right to cancel, you must provide a clear statement of your decision (for example via your customer account, the order status page, or by email).
Cost of Returns
If you cancel your order, you will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.
Refunds
Once we receive your cancellation notice, we will refund the purchase price promptly and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to cancel. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods, or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.
Once the returned goods have been received, refunds are usually processed within 5 working days. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
When We Pay Return Costs
We will cover the cost of return postage if the return is due to any of the following:
- Delivery of an incorrect item
- Damaged or defective goods
- Any other error attributable to us
Condition of the Goods
You may handle the goods to inspect their nature, characteristics, and functionality without losing your right to cancel. You will be liable for any loss in value of the goods only if this loss results from handling beyond what is necessary for such inspection.
Returns Process
Returns can be preferably initiated via your customer account or the order status page, which is the quickest and easiest way to start a return. Alternatively, you may notify us of your cancellation by email to info@8wonders.com. After submitting a return request, you will receive further information about the return process.
